Newsletter Issue #57 - January 2007
Welcome to the fifty-seventh "UNOFFICIAL"
Cheap Trick newsletter, and I hope you find it of interest. It includes reviews of the
bands visit to Japan in October { japan_06.htm
} and to Boston in Nov { boston_nov06.htm
}. My apologies that this newsletter is a little later than planned, but there's not been
too much news of late
The following live dates are currently listed on the official CT website
(www.cheaptrick.com) as at 14 Jan. Check online regularly as shows for 2007 are being
added. As always, dates are subject to confirmation and change so please check before
travelling, and check the website for further additions:-
19 & 20 Jan - Coquitlam, BC, Canada; 27 - St Charles MO; 16 Feb
- Dallas TX, 22 - San Diego CA; 23 - Agoura Hills CA; 24 - Indio CA; 1-3 Mar

The band ended 2006 in Hawaii, playing their New Years Eve show at the Hilton Waikola
Village. Prior to that, the band had been due to play dates in Australia and New Zealand
in November and December, but the tour had to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the
bands control.
Some nice pictures from the bands October visit to Japan can be found on the Hard Rock
Cafe's site at www.hardrock.com/promo/ambassadors/photos/tokyo_concert.asp
Rick and Robin appeared on National Public Radio's "World Cafe" show broadcast
on 14 December, and the show can still be heard online at
www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=6625574 (and click on the "Listen"
button on that page). It's a nice 30 minute mix of interview and live songs, with the duo
performing acoustic versions of "I Want You to Want Me", "Perfect
Stranger" and "The Flame"
As ever, the official website www.cheaptrick.com is worth checking regularly, and not only
for details of confirmed tour dates. Several sets of new photos can be found from recent
shows and events, and there is a long list of press/media links to follow too. And the
merchandise store continues to offer a wide range of Cheap Trick goodies, currently
including a new, very limited edition denim jacket as well as more new t-shirt designs.
The mailing address for the official fanclub, Trick International is 8225 5th Avenue #803,
Brooklyn, NY 11209, USA.
